If you are interested in Black Angus Cattle, registered Quarter Horses, or just ranching in general you've come to the right place.  Our family was one of the pioneers in this area and has been ranching in the Cypress Hills since 1902.  Battle Creek Ranch has been in our family for three generations, since we purchased it in 1967. 

We have always been committed to raising  top quality cattle that are ideal for the commercial cattleman.  Check out our selection of purebred Black Angus Bulls and Cows as well as pictures of our commercial herd.  Our cattle are raised in the fresh air and wide open spaces of the scenic Cypress Hills.  They roam on some of the last remaining native prairie.  We pride ourselves on the care given to keeping this land in its natural state.

Our quarter horses are used for several purposes including ranch work, team roping, calf roping, barrel racing and quarter horse racing.  We generally have a number of broke horses as well as prospects for a variety of disciplines for sale at the ranch.
